Welcome to chudleighknighton.org – the online home of Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall
This is YOUR community building – a vibrant, friendly space to meet and make new friends. There are all sorts of activities and events run for all ages as well as the opportunity to hire generous spaces to do things yourselves.
The building is managed by volunteers – we are a very friendly bunch and always looking for new people to join us!
What’s on this month
Sound Gong Bath
Tuesday 4th and Monday 10th November
7-8.30pm
This amazing pure immersive session of deep relaxation is now happening each month.
Booking is essential via Mags on 07976 751385 or email puregongs@gmail.com. Treat yourself to the perfect chill out space with extra feel good factor.
Mags is also running an extra special Gong Bath talk on Tuesday 28th October 7-9pm – come and have a go and learn how the gongs work followed by a mini gong bath – all proceeds from this support the hall funds. Book through Mags as usual for this.
Line Dancing
Tuesday 18th November
6.30-7.30pm
Yeehah! It’s get your dancing boots again time!! Our popular line dancing class is fun and all proceeds support our village hall.
At only £3 per person, there’s no better way to enjoy yourself and get a little fitter at the same time.

Great Rummage Sale and breakfast
Saturday 15th November
10am-2pm
Come for a hearty cooked breakfast and the opportunity to grab a bargain at the giant jumble rummage sale – a very successful buzzing event for all ages. Who knows what treasures you might take home for tiny prices! All to support your local village hall!

Charity Bingo
Saturday 8th November
7-9pm
Family friendly prize bingo to raise funds for the hall, school and pre-school. Bring your own refreshments and children please make sure you bring an adult with you! Eyes down for a great night out…
Yoga with Rachael

Cosy Corner
Monday – Friday

Although the warmer weather means we aren’t shivering any more, the Library room and Viridor suite remain open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm for anyone to drop in. Facilities are available to make hot drinks and microwave food. Free Wifi, books and puzzles…

Our post office service is now open.

Knighton Friendship Group
Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month
2pm to 4pm
Come and join in on 14th November when the gang meet for a Beetle Drive and again on 28th November for the mystery of sensory feely bags. All are welcome to join this friendly group – very low subs and always plenty of chatter. 2-4pm upstairs in the main hall.

Community Coffee Morning
Friday 21st November
10am-noon
This month’s coffee morning is for Jays Aim – the charity which highlights the awareness of heart conditions in young adults. They kindly offered us valuable training sessions at the hall teaching vital resuscitation techniques using defibrillators in the case of cardiac arrest – there are 2 of these located in the village. The cake table at our hall promises to deliver tasty treats from our home bakers – why not bring a box and buy to take away too? Come along and join this happy vibe – all in a great cause! 🙂

Happy Feet with Katrina
First and third Wednesdays of the month.
Our friendly village footcare specialist now runs a clinic in the Village Hall Garden room on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. If you are interested in booking in to see Katrina then please contact her on 07754 692018 for more details.
Board Games Club
Usually on a Tuesday afternoon, this club has been postponed until the Autumn
While the good weather pulls us all out to enjoy the sunshine and the joys of nature, this club has put itself on hold. It will be back so watch this space for updates….

Snooker
We are very lucky to have one of the few full size snooker tables in our area. This can be booked for play for only £5 per hour. The room has recently been upgraded and redecorated so come along and take a look at the new and improved place to play and practice 🙂
All bookings must be by prior arrangement as the snooker room remains locked when not in use.
