Welcome to chudleighknighton.org – the online home of Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall
This is YOUR community building – a vibrant, friendly space to meet and make new friends. There are all sorts of activities and events run for all ages as well as the opportunity to hire generous spaces to do things yourselves.
The building is managed by volunteers – we are a very friendly bunch and always looking for new people to join us!

Sound Gong Bath
Tuesday 3rd June
7-8.30pm
This amazing pure immersive session of deep relaxation is now happening each month.

Line Dancing
Tuesday 17th June
6.30-7.30pm
It’s time to slide on that stetson again! Our popular line dancing class is fun and all proceeds support our village hall.
At only £3 per person, there’s no better way to enjoy yourself and get a little fitter at the same time. Yeehah!!

Defibrillator info
Do your bit!
A huge thank you to Jay’s aim charity who generously came to teach us all about defibrillators and how/when to use them.
CPR is a critically life saving skill – everyone should be learning it!
Chudleigh Knighton has 2 debrillators available for public use – one on the right hand side of the Village Hall and one fixed to the Claycutters pub. Do your bit – get in the know!

Village Hall Quiz
Tuesday 10th June
7pm
A quiz for all ages! Pit your wits against our quizmasters for the prestigious Village Hall Quiz Cup.
Bring your own tipple and snacks (tea, coffee and biscuits will be available), raffle and fun for all.
Have you got what it takes? Challenge your friends – teams a maximum of 6. All funds raised support our village hall improvements.

Yoga with Rachael
Every Wednesday from 18th June
7-8pm

Cosy Corner
Monday – Friday
10 -5
Although the warmer weather means we aren’t shivering any more, the Library room and Viridor suite remain open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm for anyone to drop in. Facilities are available to make hot drinks and microwave food. Free Wifi, books and puzzles…

Post Office
Every Tuesday 2-3.30pm
Every Thursday 8.30-10.30am
Our post office service is now open.
Pop by for banking services, posting letters and parcels and much more…

Knighton Friendship Group
Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month
2pm to 4pm
Meets every fortnight on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 2pm to 4pm. Activities are available or just come along for a cuppa and a chat. New members are very welcome.
Tuesday 13th May is a visit to Buckfast Abbey (contact Tricia for more details if you are interested in this) and 27th a powerpoint about the Scilly Isles and a quiz.

Community Coffee Morning
10am-noon Friday morning once a month – Friday 20th June
A short notice change! Cake and coffee this month will now be to support our Preschool. Jay’s Aim Coffee Morning (a South West charity that raises awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in the young) has been postponed until November.
The cake table is often groaning with the tasty treats our home bakers have been making – why not bring a box and buy to take away too? Come along and join this happy vibe 🙂

Book and DVD Exchange
The hall is open most weekdays from 9am until 5pm
Come and exchange a book or DVD with our expanding library of films and novels

Happy Feet with Katrina
First and third Wednesdays of the month.
Our friendly village footcare specialist now runs a clinic in the Village Hall Garden room on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. If you are interested in booking in to see Katrina then please contact her on 07754 692018 for more details.

Board Games Club
Usually on a Tuesday afternoon, this club has been postponed until the Autumn
While the good weather pulls us all out to enjoy the sunshine and the joys of nature, this club has put itself on hold. It will be back so watch this space for updates….

The first Saturday of the month
9-11am
Hot breakfast menu at great value low prices. Pop by with a bit of cash and start your day off proper job!

Snooker
We are very lucky to have one of the few full size snooker tables in our area. This can be booked for play for only £5 per hour. The room is currently being upgraded and redecorated so please bear with us a little as we make your space smarter 🙂
All bookings must be by prior arrangement as the snooker room remains locked when not in use.
