This is YOUR community building – a vibrant, friendly space to meet and make new friends. There are all sorts of activities and events run for all ages as well as the opportunity to hire generous spaces to do things yourselves.
The building is managed by volunteers – we are a very friendly bunch and always looking for new people to join us!

Yeehah! It’s get your dancing boots again time!! Our popular line dancing class is fun and all proceeds support our village hall.
At only £3 per person, there’s no better way to enjoy yourself and get a little fitter at the same time.
Little Village Play Cafe
Every Friday 10.30am-12noon
Mother and baby/toddler group is back in Chudleigh Knighton. Come along and join in the play fun – we can’t wait to welcome you!

Hall’s Angels
Calling anyone with DIY skills
The Hall has a wonderful group of “Angels” who routinely help out with practical jobs to maintain the hall. If you have an hour ot two to spare and fancy meeting new people, why not reach out and join in?

Annual Jumble Sale!
Saturday 7th November 10am-2pm
Breakfast available 9am-2pm
This popular event returns!! Come and find a bargain and fill up on a tasty bacon bap at the same time.
This event buzzes with opportunity. There’s still time to donate your good quality unwanted goods too – drop them at the Library room before 3rd November and we will try to find them a new home.
All proceeds support your local village hall.

Souper Duper Tuesdays return!!
10th and 24th November
12-2pm
As the cooler/wetter days creep in, what better way to warm the cockles than to share soup and a pud with friends? Exceptional value at £3 and all homemade too.
The Quiet Room remains open from 9am-5pm for all to chill out in – pick up a book from the library to read and maybe make yourself a cuppa to sit with.
Wifi access is available throughout the hall. Why not start a jigsaw too?

Knighton Friendship Group
Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month
2pm to 4pm
All are welcome to join this friendly group – very low subs and always plenty of chatter. 2-4pm upstairs in the main hall.
10th November is a powerpoint presentation about New Zealand South Island and 24th we’ll be making Christmas decorations. Don’t forget that the Post Office is also open on this day too.
Community Coffee Morning

We’re raising money for The British Royal Legion this month. A charity close to the heart of a wonderful gentleman we recently lost.
The cake table promises to deliver a wealth of tasty treats – what better way to catch up with your friends than by eating home baked cake and supporting a really worthwhile charity.
Come and join our happy vibe. Great raffle prizes on offer too!

Stories round the Fire
Friday 23rd October

Join us for an evening of story telling around the fire. Children cost only £1 and various refreshments are on sale too – hot dogs, burgers, hot chocolate…

Men’s Breakfast Club
The first Saturday of the month – 7th November

This months Club invites the ladies too and is extended until the Jumble Sale finishes!!
Bacon and sausage baps with lashings of sauce, tea and coffee.
Pop by with a bit of cash and start your day off proper job – you might find the one thing you’ve been looking for on the jumble stalls!

Cost £3 includes tea and biscuits and simply helps to cover the costs of the room hire.
Walking Group

Meet Susie at 10am outside the Village Hall
Maybe you walk around the village and would like to venture a little further with company? Perhaps share your favourite walk?
The walks are approximately 3 miles and take 1-1.5 hours.

The Village Hall Garden needs you
Come and spend a bit of peaceful time in our beautiful outdoor space…
The Autumn calls and soon the beautiful colours will turn and the cosy winter nights draw in. It’s time to put the garden in order.
We are always looking for people to help maintain the hall garden – maybe take ownership of a small patch to cultivate and nurture? Make some new friends while you are there 🙂

Snooker
We are very lucky to have one of the few full size snooker tables in our area. This can be booked for play for only £5 per hour. The room has recently been upgraded and redecorated so come along and take a look at the new and improved place to play and practice 🙂
All bookings must be by prior arrangement as the snooker room remains locked when not in use.
